What's Happening in A6
This is our last week in kindergarten. I want to thank everyone for volunteering in the class this year. Thanks to the parents who helped with class parties, the field trips, and the classroom activities. Thank you for taking the time to share the books in the Hometime Bags with your child! You can keep reading together by taking your child to the public library this summer! Also thank you for all the snacks you sent for the students throughout the year. Your involvement and support has meant a lot to all of us.
On Thursday, June 4th, I will send home the students' Kindergarten Books; I hope you enjoy them. I have enjoyed teaching your children ; it has been an exciting year growing and learning together!!
Hometime Program: Our hometime reading program is over for this school year; please return the Hometime Bags as soon as possible. Thank you so much for spending time with your child each week at home reading together!
Sight Words: Please help your student practice reading the words we have sent home each week in the Hometime bags. They may also practice writing the words; this would be good practice for working on their fine motor skills! Thanks for your help!
Theme: This week we will be finishing our ocean theme!
Language Arts: We are continuing to work on completing starter sentences in our journals such as I like, I can, We can, I see, and I have.
Math: We will be working on review activities and working on telling time by the hour.
